this was what we saw at the great waters where the merlion throws up.

this fish must've tasted bad.

and in view of all the readings and fyp work and whatnots we have to do, i actually see myself as this fish.

not dead, of course. (hell, no) (but almost there)

floating in this sea of seeming calmness, i'd like to play dead and hopefully have someone scoop me out of these waters and into.... some beautiful ocean by a (real) beach. (not the kind with reclaimed sand that we see at our shores)

and just in case, i'd raise my fin just like this fish.

"yoohoo, can you see me???"

though alright, this fish didn't die in a glamorous state and it's unkind of me to make fun of it.
